SWEET VALLEY - In 2007, when we were bonded, the mainstay in all of our minds for the onset of a new winery was the agriculture surrounding the Walla Walla Valley, and henceforth, the terroir that resides here. The actual winery name is derived from a famous agricultural product here, the Walla Walla Sweet Onion and was meat to further represent our beliefs. Thus, the main focus for SWEET VALLEY is to craft world class, sustainable, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot from select Walla Walla Valley vineyards. We have a deep connection with this beautiful valley, and want no less than to grow the best and showcase that through the crafting of dry, structured red wines that- due to their roots- are very pleasing upon their release, yet will do well with time on your cellar shelf.
RIGHTEOUS Wines - It is no secret that our Winemaker and Co- Founder, Josh McDaniels, started SWEET VALLEY when he was a mere 15 years old. After growing up with some of the finest names in the industry, Josh felt a large need to bridge the gap from cheap wine to a more qualified, yet still affordable, product for the novice drinker. “Making wine for the people”, as he commonly coins it. After growing up in a culture that he loved so deeply, he simply wanted the same quality of indulgence for a wider range of people. RIGHTEOUS Wines also allows us to work with other Washington State AVA’s and vineyard sites that we use to create well balanced, drinkable wines at insane values. In addition, we expand our portfolio to other varietals.
